- Money is credited immediately to the receivers account
Sending money to mobile
- Enter the mobile number of the receiver
- Enter the payable amount and your mPIN
- The receiver is notified through an SMS of the same
- The receiver can hence show the SMS at any Airtel store to withdraw the money
In case, you are changing your handset, you can continue using Airtel money app from your new handset, as the app is linked with your mobile number. However, if you are subscribing to a new Airtel mobile number, you need to transfer the Airtel money balance from the old number to the new number.
In case you are changing the mobile operator, it is advised to withdraw or use the balance from Airtel money app, as the balance in the app cannot be transferred to the mobile number of a different mobile operator.
